_{[Somewhere in the forest, along the path that leads from the village to the lake, lies a nondescript figure in faded blue clothes. Seems like he was just dumped there, really, as his right arm looks like it's bent at a weird angle. Anyway, Genis is unconscious, but not mortally wounded, as there don't seem to be any gaping wounds on him aside from a couple of cuts and scratches. Curiously, however, he's covered with quite a number of dark bruises.

He doesn't move, save for the occasional shiver from the cold, and the unsteady rise and fall of his chest in jagged, shallow breaths.]}

[This is Arche flying around on her broom near the lake, where she's been spending a lot of her time recently. She may or may not have gone looking for you without telling anyone, Genis. A fact that's about to pay off as she flies above a certain silver and blue lump.] Is that... Genis? GENIS!

[She flies down to the fallen boy, a look of clear worry and shock on her face.]

Well, she can figure out pretty quickly that she's not going to get anything out of him, so she takes a look at his injuries to see if moving him would be workable... nope, not with that arm.] Martel... what'd they do to you, Kiddo? Don't worry... I'll fly straight to the clinic and bring you back a healer. Just hang on for me until I get back.

As hard as it is here sometimes, it really feels better to be all together again somewhere.

Well yeah. I was definitely glad to see Cless and Chester here... huh, that's odd... he should be right around here somewhere.

And I was glad to see Lloyd and Colette here.

Yeah, especially with that hair of his... he was right off to the side of the road. It can't be that far...

Could he have woken up and tried to head for the village?
