They've brought Mithos here. It's been two years since everything happened, but - [his pen trails off here, apparently not certain as to what to say next] ... I guess I didn't expect him to show up. Up til now I didn't realize that the Malnosso could and would bring people like him here, but I guess that was just me being complacent.

[Genis is in his room, supposedly doing his homework like a good student. His pen hovers over his journal now and then; he seems to be a little out of it. There's a lot on his mind.]

I still need to arrange a few things, but Albert and I were intending on taking a trip out to the barrier, since we hadn't checked up on it for a while. I was hoping you'd come along with us.

To the barrier? Cool, okay! I haven't seen it yet, so I'd be glad to go with you.

Good. We have quite a few markers to check, and it's possible that we could be traveling for a while... it might be a chance for you to communicate with some of the harder to reach spirits, as well.

Alright, sounds like a good idea. When do we leave, then?

Hopefully soon, since we've had the idea in mind for near a week now. We'll need to prepare food and other things to take along as well; if we can get everything ready, perhaps we can even head out as early as tomorrow or so. I just wish I had found that extra teacher...

Ah - I can take care of the food, no problem. And, do we have to go so soon? Can't we wait 'til you find another teacher...?

I've found that the longer I postpone things, the less likely I am to do them.

That counts for this trip, and... other things as well. I have someone in mind to ask, in any case; I'll try to get that settled.
