[There's a delicious aroma wafting out of the windows of House 42. Whatever it is, it smells fantastic. Curiously peeking into the windows won't help you find out what it is, though, as the chef seems to have fallen asleep on the kitchen table, exhausted. Apparently the last event tuckered him out and it's only catching up to him now.]

Is her cooking really that bad? She told me that she uses a lot of lemons which sounds really kind of gross but beyond that shouldn't be that bad, is it?

A lot of lemons. Among other things. She's just - she's really not very good at it. If she offers to make you something, politely decline. Or change the subject.

Let me guess; there's a reason she's a teacher and not a chef? I've eaten some pretty weird things in my life though.

Anyway, and that's why I've tried to get better at cooking. At least this way I can help Raine out; she's already doing way more than she should be doing, so.

Your sister worries about people too much and herself not enough. She worries a lot... But that's just how she shows she cares, you know? She just kind of needs to remember to worry about herself, too.

That's probably one of the more frustrating things about Luceti. It's hard enough being stuck here, but they don't make it any easier with that barrier, and halving our powers.
