It's been a whole week, but Raine won't let me out of the house. I've run out of things to do and I think I may be dying from boredom. D'you guys think I can sneak out? I'm well enough to try some spellcasting or something by now, right? Anything to get me out of here!

[She sighs a little and starts moving back towards the coffee table, which has, predictably, a half-drunk cup of coffee and some papers scattered on the surface.]

[He follows her, and sees that she's been busy.] ... Were you working on something, again...?

Yes. [She pauses] There have been an alarming number of new arrivals. I was trying to determine a more accurate number.

[He eyes the cup of coffee.] Are you taking a break, any time soon?

Not usually this much, no. I'm probably going to have to make another announcement of sorts, soon... not that many really seemed to take awareness to the last.

[And now he's trying to figure out how to apologize properly for earlier, because it just occurred to him that he hasn't.]

[She shakes her head a little, looking down into her cup.]
