[There's a delicious aroma wafting out of the windows of House 42. Whatever it is, it smells fantastic. Curiously peeking into the windows won't help you find out what it is, though, as the chef seems to have fallen asleep on the kitchen table, exhausted. Apparently the last event tuckered him out and it's only catching up to him now.]

[Raine and Albert were probably both... out for a ride. Which would explain the coming in late. In any case, Raine makes her way to the kitchen after washing up, not realizing there's company just yet.]

We're home, Genis. I hope you weren't waiting too long.

[Looks up from his seat at the table]

Nah, it's fine. Oh, and Yuan's here for dinner, if that's okay.

[Yuan also looks up to give Raine a faint smile when she enters. He's in ur house, eatin' ur food.]

[She steps fully into the kitchen, and then notices the blue-haired man sharing the table.] Good evening, Yuan. I haven't seen you around for a while.

[Is busy getting more plates of curry for himself, Raine and an empty one for Albert when he comes in later.]

Things have been hectic, I suppose.

I'm glad you decided to drop by on your own anyway. Unless... there's another reason, for the visit?

[So as not to be useless, she'll go get some cups down and the like.]

[He pauses slightly to glance at Yuan, but goes back to serving out dinner, perhaps a little too quietly. Um.]

[He won't rat you out, Genis. But he's still going to use you as an excuse.]

Actually, your brother invited me in. It seems he'd made a bit too much dinner.

Oh, I see. [She glances towards Genis, then goes to get some lemonade from the icebox.]

He does that, sometimes. It's good you were nearby.

[He shrugs a little] It wouldn't do to waste food since I'd made a little extra, anyway.

Besides, it's like Yuan's been hiding from us or something. Haven't seen him in forever.

[You're laying it on a bit thick there, Genis.]

I assure you, you're part of the group of people I'd least likely avoid.

[She just shakes her head a little, and brings the glasses and pitcher to the table.]

[Albert enters the house at this time, raising a brow at their somewhat-unlikely dinner guest before heading for the kitchen to wash up. He speaks to the man as he passes.]

Here to raid our well-stocked cabinets, Yuan?

Or maybe he's taking advantage of my awesome curry.

Obviously, I'm here to do both. I can multi-task when needed.

Honestly, you should stop in more often. [She takes a seat at the table once the cups are set up.] It makes it easier to keep track of you that way.

[Albert talks over his shoulder as he washes his hands.]

You make it sound as if he hides out in a cave all day, Professor.

He might as well be doing exactly that, really.

What kind of person do you think I am? I have a house to hide out in.

It's true. [Her tone is teasing.] You've been known to hide in caves before. Who's to say you haven't furnished one by now?

[Albert returns to the dining area after drying his hands, looking at the dinner spread in approval. It's always nice when Genis is in charge of cooking.]

I suppose there are some conveniences that would be missed in the confines of a cave.

Like actual human contact? And edible food?

Actually, the one thing preventing me from going back to that cave now is that my housemate won't be too happy if I tried. For some reason, people are obsessed with keeping an eye on me.
