[There's a delicious aroma wafting out of the windows of House 42. Whatever it is, it smells fantastic. Curiously peeking into the windows won't help you find out what it is, though, as the chef seems to have fallen asleep on the kitchen table, exhausted. Apparently the last event tuckered him out and it's only catching up to him now.]

Date: 2009-07-01 07:05 pm (UTC)But boy, this sure is good curry. Yuan hasn't eaten this good in years.]

Date: 2009-07-01 07:13 pm (UTC)The food is good, of course. It's a nice little dinner. Why don't they do this more often, again? Raine takes a sip of her lemonade.]

Date: 2009-07-01 07:26 pm (UTC)It's nice to have a fairly normal meal after that last experiment.

Date: 2009-07-01 08:35 pm (UTC)[Yuan was a bit preoccupied with himself during that experiment. He doesn't know what happened with Raine and Albert.]

Date: 2009-07-01 08:54 pm (UTC)The last experiment was very ... inconvenient with how it interfered with normal, every day things. [She shakes her head a little.] Were you affected at all, Yuan?

Date: 2009-07-01 09:51 pm (UTC)Of course. While one of the individuals I turned into was only an annoyance, my other form was... a bit more troublesome.
[action]
Date: 2009-07-01 10:15 pm (UTC)Is that so? I wonder why some people had more than one form... one was more than enough.

Date: 2009-07-01 11:39 pm (UTC)Well... having a handful of people not being affected at all is common during experiments. Either it could be some form of control group that is randomly selected for the duration of the shift, or the shift itself doesn't work. Assuming of course that it is the theory behind these experiments.
Regardless it was just ridiculous, all around. We should be glad it wasn't one of those longer ones. It could have easily been.

Date: 2009-07-02 04:46 am (UTC)And yes. Maybe it was just that ridiculous. Though perhaps I can only speak for myself in that regard.

Date: 2009-07-02 05:28 am (UTC)[She gives Albert a look, and shakes her head before attempting to get back to eating. Not much of an appetite there, though.]

Date: 2009-07-02 09:24 am (UTC)I thought this experiment was on the weird side, too. Even for Luceti's standards, you know? And that's saying something.
[nomnom curry] So Yuan, is the curry any good?
[action]
Date: 2009-07-02 11:58 am (UTC)The best I've tasted in a long time.
[action]
Date: 2009-07-02 12:43 pm (UTC)Oh, great! Thought it might've been a little too spicy there.
[action]
Date: 2009-07-02 04:33 pm (UTC)I don't think any of us would have any room to complain even if it was too spicy, Genis; it's still more than any of us could cook.
